Job Summary (2-3 sentences describing job purpose): Provide high-level administrative support by handling information requests, performing clerical, administrative and communication support. Facilitate efficient department operations by assisting leadership and team members with planning and implementing efforts and functions within the District. Apply advanced administrative skills to assist in the management of time and in the handling of administrative detail to be more effective and efficient in action. Possesses a mastery of office administrative skills, demonstrates the ability to assume responsibility and judgment and makes decisions within the scope of assigned authority.

Job Duty/Resp. 1:
Provide high-level administrative support by handling information requests, researching and resolving issues, preparing statistical reports, and performing multiple clerical functions.
Job Duty/Resp. 2:
Composes correspondence concerning routine matters, keeping supervisor informed of such; organizes and updates filing; maintains and organizes office supply inventory; records and maintains agenda for department's meetings.
Job Duty/Resp. 3:
Screens and directs calls and visitors; answers questions as appropriate in order to relieve supervisor of details; may listen, advise and communicate with school personal and parents on a regular basis regarding school health policy and guidelines.
Job Duty/Resp. 4:
May secure venues and posts PD events on network; may lead the set up and take down of rooms in the locations for district-wide meetings and PD; may maintain accurate attendance, certificate completion and evaluation tracking of PD. May send completion certificates to school.
Job Duty/Resp. 5:
Maintains scheduling and event calendars. Schedules and confirms appointments for clients, customers, or supervisor. Makes necessary arrangements for conferences.
Job Duty/Resp. 6:
Manages purchasing, bidding and requisitioning functions routinely gathering and ordering materials necessary.
Job Duty/Resp. 7:
Completes various detailed reports for Local, State and Federal Government offices and provides departmental data to various stakeholders.
Job Duty/Resp. 8:
Follows up on work in process to ensure timely reply or action; Performs various office tasks; assists co-workers as required to ensure efficient office management.

Education (training/degree): Required minimum: HS diploma Preferred: B.A. or B.S.

Skills Required: High level of accuracy in written documents, fluency across online platforms and applications, including MS Office, Adobe, Microsoft Excel.
