As Drupal Developer, you'll provide leadership to development team and customers on solutions and coding, facilitates decision making, and provides technical guidance. You will also conduct research and provide recommended solutions. The ideal candidate will develop code (e.g., PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery), have expertise in backend technologies, and knowledge of front-end technologies. You'll work with the customer's OCIO IT to deploy code to production environment, provides deployment notes to customers.

What you'll do:
- Develop custom Drupal modules, themes, and functionalities to meet project specifications.
- Customize and configure Drupal modules to enhance website capabilities and performance.
- Collaborate with designers, QA engineers, scrum master, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of user interface elements with backend logic.
- Optimize website performance, troubleshoot issues, and conduct ongoing maintenance.
- Stay updated with Drupal core updates, security patches, and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and provide guidance to junior developers when needed.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and clients to gather requirements, provide updates, and address technical queries.
What you'll need to succeed:
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
- 4 years Drupal website back-end development expertise, with front-end knowledge, administration, core and custom module development, configuration management/features, and theming.
- Extensive development experience in Drupal 8/9 and ecosystem components (Git, Composer, TWIG, theming, Site Building and Module development).
- Hands-on migration experience to Drupal 9, including development of Content Migration Strategy, requirements documentation, security, and testing strategy and execution.
- Experience working with teams of developers and architects, UX design professionals, content strategists, guiding customers, and being flexible and open to feedback.
- Ability to code and debug in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery.
- Knowledge in front-end frameworks (e.g., React.js, Vue.js, AngularJS); and back-end technologies (e.g., NodeJS, Python, Ruby, scalable server technologies).
- Experience syncing admin changes between multiple environments (configuration importing/exporting); config and modification of contributed modules, standard hooks, and standard self-test regimes.
- Experience working in Agile development teams, shipping code in iterative cycles.
- Experience conducting research, providing recommended solutions with documentation, and conducting peer reviews.
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git, SVN) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Working knowledge of accessibility and 508-compliance.
