Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
Role/Purpose:
The role and purpose of this role is to assure jobs are kitted and staged for production to support on-time delivery to our customers. This role is also responsible for properly filling out missing parts lists when materials are not available, delivering shortages and performing cycle counts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pick Parts for all manufacturing jobs using RF devices
- Load parts on staging carts in a safe and organized manner
- Assure part shortages are delivered promptly as they become available
- Kit parts for future assembly and or fabrication jobs based on material availability
- Ensure each kit that is not complete has a properly filled out missing parts list
- Put away of completed fab parts needed to assist in creating complete kits for assembly
- Ensure the areas are clean, neat and organized at all times in accordance with our 5s guidelines
- In addition to our core values all employees must follow the Code of Conduct
- Other duties and tasks as assigned
What You Need to Succeed
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Able to follow written and verbal directions
- Must be organized and able to multi-task
- Must be able to respond quickly to demand
- Ability to follow Staging schedule and give feedback to supervisors and co-workers
- Knowledge of general fabrication and assembly work flow
- Ability to be crossed trained to perform other duties as specified by the Staging Supervisor
- Able to operate motorized and manual pallet jacks
- Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. and work in multiple positions (ie stand, sit, lay, squat, bend, kneel) for prolonged periods of time
Minimum Education / Experience Required:
- High school diploma or equivalency
- 2 years stock room experience
- SAP operating experience preferred
**OVERTIME MAY BE REQUIRED BASED ON BUSINESS NEEDS.**
