POSITION: Food and Beverage Director, Minnowbrook Conference Center

LOCATION: Indian Lake, NY

SALARY: $90K Range Based On Experience, 5K signing bonus

Metz Culinary Management is growing and we have an AMAZING opportunity for a Rock Food and Beverage Director/ General Manager. We are seeking a polished and professional HOSPITALITY driven Leader with a winning attitude ready to hit the ground running in a busy Conference Center setting.

Minnowbrook Conference Center, a division of Syracuse University, is a breathtaking retreat and conference center nestled in the Adirondack Mountains overlooking the pristine Blue Mountain Lake where guests enjoy a spectacular setting designed to foster creative conferencing.

The Director has an overall responsibility of providing amazing meals and unforgettable service across multiple outlets. He/she institutes company cycle menus and recipes; plans and oversees purchasing, employee personnel programs, scheduling, bookkeeping, customer and client relations; oversees the food preparation service and sanitation; and is accountable for the total operation results. The Director reports to University and Conference Center Administration and The District Manager.

Requirements:

· 3 Plus Years in a Senior Leadership Role in a Conference Center, or Hotel Banquet setting

· Operations management of kitchen, café, retail, catering and dining operations

· Solid understanding of Guest and Client Relations

· Impeccable Communication Skills

· Restaurant Management knowledge

· Knowledge of Menu implementation

· Culinary or Specialized Restaurant Management Degree strongly preferred
