Sales Manager – Northern Virginia
Compensation:
- $70,000 base salary
- Residual, Uncapped Commission
- Average Sales Rep earns $120,000 annually

Job Summary:
Meyer Lab is a US-based and industry leading chemical manufacturer. Come join our team today as a Sales Manager in the Northern Virginia market. As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for hunting and prospecting new industrial business opportunities for the territory. Using your highly talented sales experience, you will follow Meyer’s proven sales process to prospect, uncover prospective customer’s high yield needs, develop a customized chemical program for them and acquire the business.
Job Duties:
- Average 6-8 scheduled sales calls per day
- Grow territory through acquiring new business
- Perform manual and physical tasks daily
- Administrative duties including building calendar, updating notes and entering sales orders through our CRM (Oracle NetSuite)
- Travel up to 250-mile radius in territory weekly
Territory Coverage:
This position covers Northern Virginia and Maryland
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of quota-carrying sales experience hunting and prospecting new business opportunities at a chemical company or similar industrial type industry.
- Excellent leadership and strong ability of working with and indirectly managing sales support colleagues.
- Excellent work history
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs as needed.
- Have and maintain a valid driver’s license
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy
