Job Summary:
The Service Technician I is responsible for assisting the Service Department Manager and Service Supervisor with the assembly of new systems and evaluating them for performance and stability. In addition, for improving current systems while ensuring quality and safety standards are maintained.
Job Duties:
- Assist in system assembling, testing, and evaluating for performance and stability.
- Assist with improving current systems to generate efficiencies for the company and customer while ensuring quality and safety standards are maintained.
- Fill out and accurately document orders to streamline communication and shipments to the sales team and / or customer.
- Prepare system orders with all parts needed for installation and package securely for freight shipments.
- Collect parts orders for systems from outside vendors as they come available.
- Respond to and resolve complaints and problems.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the service department throughout each workday.
Education / Work Experience & Requirements
- Mechanical, technical, build, and assembly skills sets.
- Excellent reading and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word and Calendar).
- Problem solver that is a self-starter with personal accountability and follow-through.
Travel & Physical Requirements
- No travel.
- Desk and computer work required.
- Lifting required up to 50 lbs
