1. Establish, maintain, and modify shipping commits based on internal schedules, external schedules, and customer demand
2. Determine production requirements and communicate with operations to ensure 100% on-time delivery of customer orders
3. Regulate product mix and batch sizes in production to satisfy customer needs
4. Monitor and expedite the flow of parts to ensure prompt progress of goods to conform to production schedules
5. Disclose any bottleneck issues with the appropriate department head, Business Unit Manager, and/or Director of Operations
6. Interface with manufacturing, purchasing, engineering personnel, etc. on material status and production planning issues
7. Coordinate with Direct Material/Services Buyer to validate direct material requirements and schedules
8. Evaluate material inventory and implement process improvements to reduce and eliminate aged WIP, raw materials, and finished goods.
9. Organize and manage weekly production schedule meetings to communicate in-process and completion status
10. Provide support in the preparation and execution of physical inventory
11. Adhere to AS9100 and other quality standards
1. Perform contract management for current and future orders, pricing, lead times, and contractual requirements
2. Respond to customer inquiries by researching the status of orders utilizing their strong experience base and product knowledge
3. Maintain daily requirements for the customer through the MTI order entry system
4. Interface with operations, production, and quality departments to maintain the status of existing and pending jobs in order to provide the customer with accurate pricing and manufacturing lead time estimates
5. Work closely with production and quality departments to align orders with proper documentation to satisfy customer requirements
6. Interact with customers, understand and solve account-related issues on a regular basis through phone calls, emails, and other methods
7. Identify and escalate terms and conditions in contracts or purchase orders to management when applicable
8. Track and maintain up-to-date knowledge regarding any and all non-conforming hardware and non-conforming reports
9. Manually enter and gather data, and prepare reports for utilization by management and various departments
10. Answer telephone calls in a friendly, professional, and pleasant disposition, transferring callers promptly and appropriately
11. Compose and prepare correspondence and other forms of communication in professional and understandable formats
12. Project and uphold Meyer Tool company image, reputation, and values
13. Perform assigned projects and other duties delegated by the supervisor
14. Work closely with teams and promote high morale, teamwork, pride, productivity, and excellent quality
15. Instill a quality culture and promote a proactive approach to issue resolution across the company
16. Other duties as required to support the needs of the business

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and move throughout the facility. Will use hands, frequent stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, crouching, stooping, reach with hands and arms, and communicate. Work in a manufacturing environment and use the computer (typical 2-button scroll mouse and keyboard – 80% of the work day). The employee must frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds.
