Job Summary:
The main purpose of the Content Specialist is to ensure best-in-class merchandising across
Meyer’s retailer’s platforms to maximize conversion of our brands. Using extensive product knowledge and a
consumer first mindset, continually review and note improvements needed on our product detail pages for
content, copy, images, etc. Continually audit and survey the top retail partners to identify new and better ways to
merchandise our products with the goals of increasing traffic and conversion. Partner with cross functional
departments to prioritize, implement and execute updates to existing products in a timely manner as well as
adjusting and enhancing future product detail page asset creation. Extract insights about our products via
customer reviews to help sales leaders and PM teams update and develop new products for sale within the
e-commerce channel as well as identify improved ways to communicate and market existing products.
Essential Job Duties:
● Continuously evaluate Meyer’s copy, content, images, etc. across our retailer platforms to identify
improvements that better engage consumers and drive increased conversion.
● Audit existing assets within Salsify and Bynder and identify opportunities to repurpose, recycle and
enhance assets and content
● Organize and maintain all enhanced content digital assets to be used across platforms (Syndigo, Amazon
A , Wayfair). Track and manage content upload and publication on Syndigo, ensuring final publication on
site and troubleshooting as needed. Assist Sr. Specialists with Amazon and Wayfair platforms.
● Audit new items to ensure all optimal content is in place - SEO enhanced titles, copy, enhanced content,
reviews, variations, video, back-end keywords, with the goal of eliminating the need for continual
reworking of content.
● Review enhanced content scores in digital shelf reporting and retailer PDP scorecards. Add content if
available or communicate to Sr. Specialists if new content needs to be created.
● Document effective content and messaging from other brands within and outside the housewares industry
and make recommendations for incorporating into our content, copy, images, etc.
● Use understanding of the consumer path to purchase / customer journey to best appear and be selected
on that path in the digital space.
● Identify and execute quick fixes to content in an urgent manner—particularly for high-volume items.
● Identify products with substandard reviews, partner with CR on which items need Manufacturer response
to reviews or Q&A. Collect key observations from reviews and work with Sr. Specialists to share with
appropriate teams.
● Review various aspects of our DTC business to provide insights and suggestions to cultivate and improve
our relationship with the consumer and drive site conversion / revenue. This includes, but not limited to,
site audits, website messaging, product pages, content, presentation emails, text, etc.
● Maintain a high level of product knowledge of all Meyer brands and product specs.
● With an entrepreneurial spirit and a “think outside of the box” mentality, take strategic ownership of all
merchandising content with the aim of elevating consumer engagement and increasing sales.
● Collaborate with e-merchandising team, copy team, and brand teams to share learnings and best
practices in the digital merchandising space.
● Review and analyze competitive product on retailer sites to gauge tactics used to advantage their brands,
communicate benefits, and offer product differentiation for channel and pricing purposes.

Minimum Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline or equivalent experience required
● Strong product knowledge of the Meyer brands
● Extensive understanding of the consumer’s mentality for our core categories.
● Detail oriented, analytical thinker who is highly organized.
● Quick learner who is able to adopt new technologies and processes easily.
● Able to work and think independently.
● Able to work in a fast paced team environment.
● Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
● Able to handle pressure and maintain a calm and courteous manner.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
● Proficiency with MS Office, Internet and G-mail.
● Experience with a PIM/DAM is highly preferred, especially Salsify.
● Strong proficiency with MS Excel, able to quickly learn new formulas.
● Experience with PowerBI is a plus.
● Demonstrate proper phone/video call etiquette and communicate clearly and professionally.
