MGE's corporate headquarters is in Folsom, CA. MGE has endeavored to secure opportunities statewide and will continue to do so. Our goal for every employee is to be able to work near their home, but must be willing to travel. We are recruiting for all California areas.
Full-Time Employment
- Up to 60 hours per week
- Compensation: 2023 Union Classification range $47.31 - $58.47/per hour (includes ILB amount in rate)
- Plus $50 per day Subsistence
- Lodging is paid for
- $2500 after working 30 days to offset mobilization/demobilization
REQUIRED
- ISA Arborist Certification
- ISA TRAQ Certification
- Valid Driver License and clean driving record
- Pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Ability to learn tree species and growth rates
- Ability to read and follow maps
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Excellent attention to data requirements and technical detail
- Proficiency with electronic devices and systems, such as mobile devices, GIS programs, MS Excel/Word
- Ability to work in rugged terrain and inclement weather
- Willingness to travel during the week.
