Social Media Marketing Account Coordinator

MGH, a full-service marketing communications agency recognized as one of Ad Age’s 2019 and 2020 Best Places to Work, is currently seeking an Social Media Marketing Account Coordinator with 1-3 years agency experience to join our social media marketing team as a hybrid or in-office (Hunt Valley, MD) employee.

What You’ll Do:

• Create/write monthly editorial calendars, including brainstorming, copywriting, and partnering with the creative team for visual development
• Manage client social media accounts, including posting, monitoring and response
• Develop client reports with a variety of social media and website metrics, and analyses of results
• Perform research and outreach to influencers
• Source and collect user-generated content
• Perform occasional new business research

What We Want from You:

• Some marketing agency experience (1-3 years), with an emphasis on social media marketing, public relations and/or digital marketing. Applicable internship experience is considered acceptable.
• Strong writing abilities and attention to detail
• Strong familiarity with and interest in a career path related to social media and/or influencer marketing
• Strong familiarity with social media marketing tools
• Hybrid or in-office presence, particularly for meetings, photo and video shoots, and other in-office needs
• High levels of energy, and a desire to quickly learn new tactics and tools
• Adaptable, flexible
• Positive and solutions-oriented attitude
