Instructor (FT)

• Online Experience is a must, also a teaching certificate in the State of Arizona.

• Instruct and facilitate student learning via the internet, grade student work, and provide individualized feedback that solicits further engagement in the course. Provide tutoring and identify adjustments based on students’ needs. Set deadlines and grant extensions to promote student engagement.
• Support a caseload of students in terms of creative interventions, problem-solving, and counseling in order to help students achieve academic goals.
• Answer incoming phone calls to assist parents and students with academic questions including progress reports, positive feedback, grades, and student concerns. Make outgoing phone calls in an attempt to contact parents and students to promote student engagement. Monitor and respond to student data information on “High Priority” students.
• Responsible for increasing enrollments by encouraging, using intervention, and communicating with students, family members, and their friends.
• Work as part of a departmental, as well as instructional, team to improve processes, develop best practices and implement creative solutions for student success barriers that arise. Participate in professional development activities.
• You will utilize performance data from each student to identify individual student needs and develop appropriate intervention and support strategies to increase academic performance.
• You will create practices and procedures that will increase student engagement, retention, academic performance, and a positive learning environment by providing praise, encouragement, and reinforcement.
• You will attend community & site events and participate in professional development days, educational & work-related committees while marketing, promoting, and representing Pinnacle Charter Schools in a professional manner.
