Reading Intervention Specialist
FLAS Status : Part-Time, Non-Exempt
Location(s) : On-Site; Glades Academy - Pahokee FL
Expected hours : 20 - 30 hours per week

Step By Step Learning, an MGT company, is actively recruiting for individuals for 20-30 hours per week, M-F to work during the 2023-2024 school year as a Reading Intervention Tutor to K-8 children who need foundational reading skills.
We provide all of the training necessary to be successful!
MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Provide Reading intervention services to K-8 children using structured literacy lessons and an online tool.
- Work flexibly up to 20-30 hours per week
- All training provided.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- At least two (2) years of experience with working with children
- Comfortable with technology
- Reliable transportation must be within driving distance to Glades Academy in Pahokee, FL
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Elementary Education certification / license
- Experience in small group Instruction
- Knowledge in the science of reading and structured literacy
