The Shop Mechanic will perform scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, identify, and repair on forklifts at our shop in Pennsauken. Complete all required documentation in the time frame provided. The Forklift Mechanic will be required to keep an inventory of parts and tools. This person will work with the Parts team to ensure you have the correct parts and documentation. In this role, you will be responsible for communicating with multiple people; excellent communication skills with an emphasis on courteous and expert customer service is required. You will be responsible for these duties to complete in a safe and timely manner.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Forklift Mechanic, with electric, IC, and Propane experience. Models include Crown, Unicarrier, Yale, Hyster, Toyota or Raymond.
or 3 years of Mechanic Experience
Proven track record of troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing equipment required.
Experience repairs masts, cylinders, and transmissions preferred
Ability to use voltmeters, ohm meter and ability to read electrical schematics required.
You must have basic mechanics tools such as wrenches, sockets, etc. (Company will provide specialty tools, compressors, etc.)
Hourly rate based on experience
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
