MHTN Architects is seeking a Senior Planning Project Manager looking to take the next step in their career, to foster strong relationships with clients and team members, and lead project execution. You will be the backbone of our Urban Planning projects, ensuring inclusivity and effective communication within your team, with our clients, and with the communities we serve. You will utilize your honed leadership skills to provide mentorship to less experienced team members and support team and project coordination. In this role, you will use your strong communication skills to guide and mentor other team members by delegating responsibilities and providing task performance feedback. As a team, you will provide and present meaningful and impactful solutions to our clients. Your contributions will include the coordination of the internal workflow of projects with public and private clients, leading interactions with the public, performing public outreach, leading public adoption processes, and design exercises, and collecting feedback. You will attend some evening and weekend meetings to participate in public outreach and plan adoption as well as perform and manage research and analysis to identify issues and suggest strategies to mitigate issues and strengthen communities. You will collaborate closely with landscape designers, architects, and other experts to ensure excellent design and compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
As the Senior Planning Project Manager, you will write and present formal and technical reports, design visions, planning documents, and correspondence, and you will have the opportunity to write white paper publications. Other key responsibilities include assisting on marketing proposal preparation, overseeing specialized planning functions such as large-scale new development proposals and environmental studies. You will collaborate with the Principal of Urban Planning on planning-related matters and help to ensure appropriate training and mentorship opportunities for Planning team members. This role will be a part of conversations with the Principal over Urban Planning in budget preparation and monitor and control expenditures throughout project execution including market expenditures, conference attendance, sponsorships, e.
