JOB SUMMARY:
The Student Success Network at Miami Country Day School enriches the lives of our students, their families, and our community as a nexus of curiosity and learning. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, AND TASKS:

Conducts one-on-one speech therapy sessions using the designated methodologies needed for each individual student.

Maintains a passion for working with students and a love of continued learning.

Adopts a high level of patience and understanding.

Ability to communicate and interact with students, parents, and school administration in a friendly, warm, professional, and effective manner.

Strong self-management skills and ability to handle autonomy with confidence.

Maintains a completely accurate schedule in an online tutoring portal system and provides monthly reports to administration.

Communicates and interacts with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators in a professional, positive manner.

Ensures safety of students.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Exhibit compassion and patience to support each student

Ability to individualize learning strategies for each student.

Comply with all items in the employee handbook, especially interactions with students and families.

Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology.

Proper SLP licensure and certification.
-
Minimum of 5 years working a an SLP

Must be available to work on MCDS campus 2-3 weekdays during school hours

Must provide references
