Primary Responsibilities:
- Projects managed to consist of basic general construction, renovation and light civil construction.
- Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
- Work directly with Project Site Superintendent
- Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities
- Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
- Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
- Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities
- Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed
- Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports
- Analyze plans, specs, construction notes, details and perform quantity take offs for use in bid proposals
- Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.
- Review specifications and construction drawings in the development of scopes of work including identifying required scopes/trades and quantities
- Review contracts prior to bid to ensure that terms, conditions, exclusions, and qualifications included in the owner's contract are appropriately addressed in the cost estimate
Job Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- A team player with leadership abilities
- Familiar with Government RFP’s/Solicitations
- Valid Driver’s License
- 30-Hour OSHA certification, EM-385 Certification
- Able to interact with company computer systems accurately and efficiently
- Excellent attitude and good communication skills
- Must be able to successfully pass a drug test and a thorough background check for access onto a military installation; please note the background check for this position extends past 7 years, in conformance with federal law and US Department of Justice guidelines for work on a military installation.
Preference in filling this position will be given to qualified Indian applicants in accordance with the Indian Preference Act.

Salary : $72,100 - $91,300
