About Our Client

Our client is a general contractor located in the Chicago, IL. Over the past few years, they have expanded their presence across the Midwest significantly and have become more heavily involved in larger govement/federal projects. They pride themselves on the ability to take on any project type or complexity and deliver quality results. They work on both ground-up and renovation projects in various sectors.

Job Description

  • Oversee and run projects from preconstruction phase through closeout
  • Organize business development meetings when necessary
  • Plans and coordinates project activities inline with company polices and procedures
  • Assist Senior PMs with client meetings - establish long-standing relationships w/ clients
  • Creates and reviews project schedules
  • Coordinate with field crews and superintendents to ensure project delivery
  • Responsible for forecasting and estimating costs and changes to costs for project completion
  • Ensure safety protocols are being adhered to on the job site
  • Travel when necessary (once a month per project)
  • Create positive/welcoming work environment for teams

The Successful Applicant

  • At least 5 years of experience in the construction industry
  • Must have project experience with govement and/or federal projects
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (degree in construction is a plus)
  • Heavy estimating experience is a plus
  • Organized and able to effectively communicate
  • Creative/fun personality
  • Prior experience interacting with clients

      • A competitive base salary between $100,000-$130,000 (Depending on Experience)
      • Competitive bonus structure, project/profit based. Typically between $8,000-$15,000 in the first year)
