Our Client is a leader in Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) and Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) services. Specializing in complex sheet metal fabrications and assemblies, they serve industries including aerospace, commercial airlines, energy, and military. The company is FAA and EASA certified, with extensive capabilities for servicing turbine engine components and industrial gas turbines

Job Description

• Regularly meet with Production to assess existing processes.
• Perform risk assessments.
• Research, develop and test process upgrades and new process systems.
• Oversee implementation of new processes.
• Ensure processes comply with quality and safety standards as well as customer requirements.
• Investigate and troubleshoot any problems that arise with processes, procedures and operations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

The Successful Applicant

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Heat Treatment Experience MUST
• Thorough understanding of engineering theory and design criteria.
• Thorough understanding of applied math and physics.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Proficient with computer-aided drafting (CAD) software.
  
  

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required, master's degree preferred.
• At least eight years of related experience required.
