HR & Recruitment Manager

We are an established commercial and residential landscape company located in Alpharetta. We are searching for an HR & Culture Manager who is experienced and service oriented. The person will be the heartbeat of our company playing the extremely important role of making sure that all employees are taken care of and heard. He or she must be an excellent listener and communicator with the ability to find solutions. This manager will play a vital role in our growth and be able to follow through on promises as we do so.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

RECRUITMENT AND ONBOARDING MANAGEMENT

  • Sources applicants based on the defined position and qualifications requested by hiring manager/s
  • Screens submitted resumes may it be digital and/or through employee referrals, sends out invitations for initial screening, and endorses potential candidates to the CEO/ Managing Director
  • Administers standardized tests and conduct initial interviews as part of initial screening
  • Conducts job offer to the successful candidate/s
  • Endorses candidates to a partner health clinic for medical examination, and monitoring the medical results
  • Subjects candidates for a background investigation of a partnered third-party organization
  • Monitors submission of pre-employment requirements of new employees

EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT

  • Manage and implement culture for the business.
  • Initiates in the planning, facilitation, and implementation of Company-wide activities/ events.
  • Responsible for the monitoring of engagement expenses
  • Responsible for the monitoring and tracking of engagement feedback forms for validation

PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT (NEW HIRES)

  • Encoding new hire details thru HR Lounge
  • Responsible for monitoring the regularization status of new hires
  • Endorses Performance Appraisal documents to Managers of New Hires due for regularization
  • Drafting of Regularization Letters and sending of email reminders to Managers for due regularization documents

EMPLOYEE RELATIONS

  • Assisting the CEO/ Managing Director in the handling of disciplinary action/ Labor Related-cases in the company
  • Drafting of Notice to Explain Letters
  • Transcription/ Taking of Minutes of the Admin Hearing
  • Perform payroll - runs and ensure that all employee benefits are implemented to all employees accurately
  • Support and help procure insurance renewals on an annual basis
  • Support and manage workers' company policies and claims.
  • Track and manage bonus structure and education structure within the organization
  • Encourage personal employee development through training and higher education
  • And other tasks given by the CEO/Managing Director

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledgeable and comfortable with computer systems - Google Calendar, Excel, Word
  • Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of running payroll a plus
  • Able to multitask
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work onsite - Monday - Friday at 7 AM - 3 PM
  • Knowledge of HR Generalist responsibilities
  • Landscape industry experience a plus
  • Able to maintain the confidentiality of information of employees and clients
  • Has reliable transportation
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required
