Mission
This Method TEC plays a crucial role in ensuring the alignment of maintenance strategies with performance objectives while overseeing their implementation. This position involves identifying opportunities to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of Maintenance teams (TEC teams) through the development and implementation of appropriate methods and tools. The Method TEC is responsible for upholding maintenance best practices, ensuring the relevance of technical information related to equipment maintenance, conducting risk analyses, and continuously improving maintenance plans throughout the equipment's lifespan. Collaboration with technicians across various factories is essential for standardizing maintenance plans, and liaison with DOMF/MP is required for equipment evolution updates.

- Supports calls from operational maintainers for methods and tools
- Existence and periodical reviews of Maintenance Plans - Timely reports on performance and Action Plans evolution countering undesired trends
- Methods and practices evolving - Projects recommendation (Risks analysis, FMEA, Prioritization, MTP (Total Process Control),…)
- Animated Total Process Control (MTP) approach (corresponding to the MTP Quality coordinator, consolidation of resource requirements, MTP indicators, implementation of action plans, coherence of PM2 with the conclusions of the MTP workshops)
- Auto-diagnosis - Benchmark data (include process performance) - Mainstreaming Business continuity analysis and criticality of equipment
- Skills mapping updated - Training documents/supports - “one point lesson” on methods and tools
- Objectives of Key-user defined in job position of RUL/SI in case of RUL BMA role
- Evaluate and align maintenance strategies with performance objectives to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
- Propose and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency of TEC teams through the development of methods and tools.
- Ensure adherence to maintenance best practices and standards across all maintenance activities.
- Verify the relevance and accuracy of basic technical information related to equipment maintenance.
- Conduct risk analysis, including Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA), to inform maintenance decision-making.
- Continuously improve maintenance plans throughout the equipment's lifecycle to optimize performance and longevity.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of inspection results to facilitate informed maintenance decisions.
- Promote the use of maintenance techniques based on risk analyses and maintenance strategy evaluations.
- Facilitate knowledge exchange among technicians working with similar equipment across different factories to develop standardized maintenance plans.
- Maintain communication and coordination with DOMF/MP regarding equipment evolution and necessary updates to maintenance plans.
