THE OPPORTUNITY
We have an immediate opening in Lexington, South Carolina for a Reliability Engineer whose responsibilities include providing reliability/automation support for the facility with a focus on plant Internet of Things and Autonomous 4-legged robot. Applicant will also be responsible for root cause analysis and to improve the reliability and durability of equipment in the plant's maintenance strategy as well as propagate maintenance knowledge and proficiency.

Our team has been manufacturing premium tires for passenger and light truck vehicles since 1981. Our facility is over 3 football fields in length, employs more than 1,600 team members, and holds a variety of complex tire building machinery. What You Will Do
- Design dashboards, lead projects, and deploy I0t within the facility.
- Provide critical review of maintenance and plans obsolescence plans.
- Develop missions and analyze data collected from Spot the robot dog.
- Development and refinement of practical, executable maintenance instructions (e.g., commissioning, setting, adjustment, calibration, etc.). Monitor quality results to ensure the tire is performing as expected.
- Assist the Maintenance shops with overall compliance of the machine user documentation and associated instructions related to SAFETY, QUALITY and Production response procedures, etc. Work with other departments to resolve machine related issues.
- Improve efficiency of interventions (responses to the demands of operational maintenance on breakdowns and corrective action plans to avoid recurring problems). Draw logical conclusions based on in depth analysis of information.
- Strive toward lowering maintenance costs (fixing and preventive maintenance). Anticipate obstacles considering next steps.
- Excellent social skills, including the ability to interact in a professional manner with external partners, suppliers, customers, and colleagues at all levels of the organization.
- Collaboration, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Effective problem-solving skills and process/product relationship knowledge.
- B.S. degree in engineering field and 0-5 years’ experience in process engineering or quality control manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office® Suite and ability to become proficient in internal software systems.
- Familiarity with quality protocols and understanding of ISO requirements is preferred.
- Attention to detail, data accuracy.
