NOTICE OF VACANCY

POSITION: High School Assistant Principal
START DATE: Immediately
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Michigan School Administrator Certificate (or ability to obtain) preferred
- Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) preferred
- Proven success with changing student behavior
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Positive rapport with parents and students
- Minimum of three to five years of successful teaching preferred
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Supervises and oversees discipline policies
- Assists principal in formulating and implementing student policies and programs
- Assist in supervising extracurricular activities which may require evening attendance
- Evaluates staff as assigned
- Support the mission of Caro Community Schools
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
- Other duties to support administration
SALARY & BENEFITS: Based on degree and experience in education.
WORK CALENDAR: 215 days
