Job Description
As a Process WLR Intern at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for identifying the quality and reliability challenges with Semiconductor Processing and implementing solutions to the challenges. You will be characterizing and evaluating process reliability utilizing wafer-level reliability (WLR) techniques. You will also collaborate with manufacturing fabs and product quality team to develop, implement and monitor wafer level quality indicators and drive actions to achieve best in class quality.
Responsibilities
- Perform Wafer Level Reliability measurement and analysis for New Process Qualification.
- Identifying the quality and reliability challenges and drive solutions for advanced CMOS devices and BEOL metallization.
- Collaborate with R&D for new technology node deployment and with Manufacturing Fabs for sustaining the process reliability for High Volume Manufacturing.
- Ensure that test methodology follows industry standards, such as the Joint Electron Devices Engineering Council (JEDEC).
Qualifications
- Must be a current student (graduating later than Aug 2024).
- Degrees preferred: Electrical Engineering / Material Science / Microelectronics
- Strong understanding of Semiconductor reliability, Semiconductor Device Engineering and Semiconductor Process Integration.
- Familiarity with statistical concepts relevant to semiconductor reliability.
- Experience in handling parametric analyzers is a plus.
- Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills.
Develops, evaluates, revises, and applies technical quality assurance protocols/methods to inspect and test in-process raw materials, production equipment, and finished products. Ensures activities and items are in compliance with both company quality assurance standards and applicable government regulations. Performs analysis and identifies trends in the inspection of finished products, in-process materials and bulk raw materials, and recommends corrective actions when necessary. Ensures that established manufacturing inspection, sampling and statistical process control procedures are followed. May assure compliance to in-house and/or external specifications and standards, such as GMPs and ISO regulations. Evaluates and analyzes the efforts in organizing, documenting, and interpreting inspection support documents and records.
