POSITION PURPOSE:
Under the direction of the Technical Lead, QA Gage Technician is primarily responsible for gage procurement, calibration, and maintenance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Gage ordering
- Gage calibration (external)
- Responsible for gage maintenance and calibration
- Responsible for the data entry of quality system records
RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Calibration of measurement instruments
- Verify accuracy of gages and measuring equipment
- Responsible for data entry into the calibration system
- Assist in orientation of new production employees with regard to gage maintenance and gage calibration
- Assist in QA Inspection activities and ISO audits
- Perform Technician duties as assigned
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:

- High School Diploma and/or G.E.D. plus 1 years quality assurance experience
- Possess general knowledge of manufacturing and quality processes

- Ability to work with limited supervision, in a team environment and in a solo capacity
- Demonstrates ability to read, write, speak, hear, and interpret documents and instructions from both verbal and written English.

- Possess data entry and computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and ERP applications
- Possess knowledge of gage maintenance and calibration
- Regularly required to use hands to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls and to reach with hands, arms and feet
- Frequently required to talk and hear, to stand, walk or sit; to balance, stoop and crouch
- Occasionally required to push, pull and safely lift various pieces of equipment or parts weighing up to 35 pounds
- Vision abilities (corrective or non) include close range, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
- Ability to understand and comply with all company, safety and quality policies and procedures and advocate ISO system standards
