Write funct. specifications and apply principles and techniques of comp. sci., eng, or math. analysis. Areas of resp. span the prod life cycle and incl. own. or contrib. to the vis. and strategy creation for the prod or svc., des. all areas of the prod or svc., and managing implt to supp. the prod or svc. release. Also resp. for overall comm. within the team, with other bus. groups, and with cust. and partners. Work on specif SW features or sections of code. Understand the prod vis. in order to align SW feature priorities. Understand cust. and partner needs in order to create specifications, des., or plans for SW features or proj. Remove obstacles and influence consensus within his or her SW feature or proj. team. May be assigned to various proj. that utilize req. skills to deploy successful prod or svcs. releases, from early prod def and scoping to detailed specification, implt & roll-out phases. REQ: Master’s degr or foreign equiv. degr in Comp. Sci., Eng, Math, Info Syst, Phy, or rel., & Any computer-related title and 1 year of SW-related, centralized and coordinated prog/proj. mgmnt exp. and/or exp. des., dev. and releasing SW prod or svcs. utilizing C, C , C# and/or another high-level programming language. SPECIFIC SKILLS: Position also requires educ. or exp. in: SQL and/or T-SQL; DAX; Data Warehousing; Power BI; Data Modeling; Database Management Systems; and SSAS. 8AM-5PM, M-F. The offered base pay range for this specific position (MIC32676), in Redmond, WA, is $141,080 to $171,080. Microsoft has diff. base pay ranges for diff. work locations w/in the U.S., which allows us to pay EEs competitively & consistently in diff. geo markets. Indiv. base pay depends on var. factors, in addition to primary work loc, such as complexity & responsibility of role, job duties/reqs., & rel. exp. & skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed & typically updated each yr. Offers are made w/in the base pay range applicable at the time. At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for add’l. rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus & stock. These awards are allocated based on indiv. perf. In addition, certain roles also have the opp. to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan & EE’s role.
