• Deliver billable consulting services, with some efforts being directed toward various MicroStrategy and/or supporting products and services.
• Ensure a solid understanding of business objectives associated with assigned projects and/or programs.
• Connect project outcomes with customers' overall vision and MicroStrategy account strategy.
• Develop a technical competence of MicroStrategy products with a focus on implementation.
• Leverage MicroStrategy best practices for service delivery.
• Develop an understanding of the project life cycle and associated customer skills.
• Communicate effectively with team members, both internally and with customers.
• Develop customer relationship and expectation management skills by independently working with customers.
• Participate in business development activities with guidance, as necessary.
• Follow methodology for well-defined work.
• Observe and understand the dynamics of influence, internally and externally with customers.
• Work within an internal sphere of influence typically bounded by project or regional activities.
• Support the team by taking ideas from concept through full deployment.
• Develop an awareness of the competitive landscape including key differentiators and competitive positioning.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience designing and implementing MicroStrategy or other business intelligence solutions
• Good founding in schema and data integration
• Strong SQL
• Database and/or Big Data knowledge
• Demonstrated leadership ability during design conversations with customers
• Staffing to local projects wherever possible, however field consultants can expect periods and assignments of up to 50% travel
• Bachelors or equivalent degree in a business, technical, or related field
• 5 years of industry, technology, and services experience

A plus:

• Experience with MicroStrategy SDK
• Experience with Java, Python
• Experience with front-end web technologies: JavaScript, HTML 5, CSS 3, Rest APIs
