Microvast is looking to hire a procurement manager in charge of procuring raw materials and equipment for the separator plant project. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Hands-on procurement activities on projects with raw material, equipment and construction.
- Negotiates commercial terms and conditions with material vendors and subcontractors while consulting with legal department and senior management.
- Manages the qualification and evaluation process for vendors of materials, subcontractors, and service providers.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance a working relationship between the company and our suppliers.
- Monitors the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements. Identify new suppliers
- Partner closely with cross functional teams to understand the requirements across different areas and ensure business requirements are met by suppliers.
- Drive cost efficiencies through negotiations, review of vendors and competitive pricing.
- Communicates and enforces procurement policies and procedures to the project teams.
- Manages the maintenance of records of goods ordered and received; oversees all Accounts Payable reconciliation.

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and above
- Experience in direct procurement, contract manufacturing,
- Strong background into developing Statement of Work for suppliers and developing Terms and conditions for contracts
- At least 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, commodity management, procurement or supply chain; proven record of accomplishment with strategic sourcing across multiple commodities.
- Deep understanding of global economics and ability to use market data/analytics to predict trends.
- Expert negotiation skills and demonstrated cost out accomplishments
- Strong business acumen and ability to build strong business case to support sourcing decisions.
- Strong interpersonal and planning skills to lead change through influencing abilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to present and discuss strategy and analysis.
- Strong project management skills
