Mid-American Benefits is looking for a Benefits Administrator position to join our growing team. This position will report to the President and will be an integral part of the team with responsibility for the administration of COBRA, FSA, and Eligibility Administration and for providing an exceptional level of service to all assigned clients.

Preparation & Delivery of COBRA Proposals
- New Group Setup/Implementation
- Client/Participant Onboarding
- Participant Updates (address changes, status changes, etc.)
- Client Invoicing
- General Notice Preparation & Delivery
- Qualifying Event Notice Preparation & Delivery
- Qualified Beneficiary Premium Payment Processing
- Client/Participant Customer Service
- Renewal Preparation & Coordination
FSA - All facets of FSA processing include but are not limited to…
Preparation & Delivery of FSA Proposals
- New Group Setup/Implementation
- Client/Participant Onboarding
- Client Invoicing & Claim Funding
- Participant Claim Payments
- Client/Participant Customer Service
- Scheduled Account Reconciliations (including Year-End)
- Renewal Preparation & Coordination
Eligibility/Enrollment (Major Medical/Dental/HRA) = All facets of Eligibility & Enrollment processing to include but are not limited to…
- New Group Setup/Implementation

- Data Entry - New Hires/Changes/Terminations
- HRA/Dental ID Card Preparation & Delivery

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Related experience and/or training; and or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritize independently and respond to multiple simultaneous requests
- Computer proficiency with office applications
- Possess strong working knowledge of software systems
- Ability to attend company, department, and team meetings as required, including industry training sessions
- Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures, proactively protecting confidentiality of Client and company information
- Ability to work on a computer for a prolonged amount of time
- Ability to work outside of normal business hours as needed
- Legally able to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Relevant TPA or payer experience
