Medical Geneticist The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group, PC is currently searching for a Board Certified/BE Medical Geneticist to add to our growing group who has or can obtain active DC, Maryland, and Virginia Medical Licenses. Board certification in Clinical Biochemical Genetics or Medical Biochemical genetics is preferred but not required. Experience with newborn screening and management of lysosomal storage disorders is preferred. This full-time position will be based primarily in our Tysons Corner Medical Center and support the Mid-Atlantic region.
The successful candidate will be part of a growing team of genetic counselors and geneticists. We provide genetic evaluation and counseling for patients across the lifespan, from prenatal to adult. In addition to the genetics evaluation and management of their own patients, the geneticist would provide support to the genetic counselors, who provide the majority of our prenatal and cancer genetic counseling. Diverse patient population, including generational diversity. Local travel within the region.
Requirements: M.D., M.D./PhD., Board Certified or Board Eligible in Clinical Genetics
