Job Description:
Mid City OBGYN, PC, an OB-GYN medical clinic, is looking for a highly motivated individual who is well versed in clinical knowledge, healthcare staffing, people leadership and compliance for the position of Internal RN-Clinical Nurse Manager. This role will provide clinical insight on items relating to the clinical MA/LPN staff as well as provide education and expert interpretation for internal and external customers. You will work closely with other Internal Managers for Ultrasound and Front Office Coordination. You will report to Business Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
- Field incoming clinical questions from team members and reply quickly
- Perform in-office procedures with Providers
- Experience with NST and interpretation
- Daily oversight of MA/CNA/LPN staff.
- Develop resources regarding clinical items
- Assist with coordination of regulatory activities and onsite audits
- Develop and maintain scheduling of staff for two clinic locations
- Oversee all DEA regulatory activities
- Partner to facilitate and manage performance plans for MA/CNA/LPN Staff
- Participate in MA/CNA/LPN review committee
- Policy creation, updating and teaching
- Review health documents and assist with follow up
- Interview and selection of candidates for clinic
- Additional responsibilities as needed
Job Qualifications:
- Licensure - Must hold and maintain current RN license in Nebraska.
- Education-Must have at a minimum an associate degree in Nursing
- Experience - A minimum of 7 years' hands on nursing experience
- Recent healthcare facility experience (within last 3 years)
- Minimum of three years of progressive leadership experience.
- Knowledge of OB/GYN healthcare industry and candidate credentialing
- Knowledge of ACOG guidelines and process
- Knowledge of CLIA Lab regulations a plus. We are CLIA exempt.
- Thorough understanding of policy and procedure interpretation, writing and teaching
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and teaching skills
- Able to manage multiple projects at once and keep strict attention to detail
- Adapt to frequent changes in workload and priority and organize these tasks effectively and independently
- Professional level of written and oral communication skills
- Excellent problem solving
- Exceptional customer service orientation
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Positive attitude and demeanor
- Must be highly computer literate, including strong skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Proficient use of EHR System, prefer Intergy/Greenway
