Responsibilities:

Tracking, monitoring, and evaluating day-today accounting task, data, and activities.

  • Responsible for Accounts Payable/Receivable, Cash Receipts, General Ledger, Payroll, and utilities
  • Manage Month-End process
  • Detailed knowledge of revenue recognition, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Regularly produce and run financial report or statements
  • Establish and enforce proper methods, policies and encourage employees to adhere to standards
  • Meet financial accounting objectives
  • Recruit and train new employees as needed
  • Responsible for full cycle accounting duties
  • Code and enter vendors expense invoices
  • Accounts Payables
  • Ensure accuracy in general ledger
  • Process Payroll
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • U.S. Customs payments
  • Settlements with international agents
  • Manage Cash Flow Report
  • Preparing all journal entries, accruals and managing month end closing approved b outside CPA.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 Years Experience in the Freight Forwrading Industry
  • Experience in Accounting, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Payroll
  • Knowledge of the CargoWise Platform
  • Bachelors degree preferred but not necessary
Desired Qualifications:
  • DG, Hazmat or TSA Certification
  • Ability to commute to work
  • Flexible attitude towards work
  • High School Diploma or Bachelor's
This is a direct hire, full-time, permanent position.

Salary: $75,000 - $100,000
