What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN Emergency Room position at MIDAS?
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and symptoms
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care
- Assist in emergency medical procedures as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Room setting
- Proficiency in patient assessment and triage
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
- Knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and Ophthalmology procedures is preferred
- Familiarity with Basic Life Support (BLS) protocols and procedures
- Experience with Botox administration, venipuncture, specimen collection, and processing is desired
- Previous experience in senior care or inhale therapy is a plus
