Intern - Position and Responsibilities
As an Intern with Middough, you will become an integral part of a project team(s) assisting with a variety of engineering processes and responsibilities based on the Internship engineering discipline assignment.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- May learn, participate in, or assist with project tasks and technical execution of projects with focus on quality, scope, budget, and schedule.
- Interact with other departments, Interns, and project teams to obtain and assist with pertinent project information and tasks.
- May assist with design and drawings including orthographics, plans/sections, and isometrics. May assist with project standard drafting techniques to generate and interpret drawings.
Education, Experience and Skills
The successful Intern candidate will possess the following:
- Currently enrolled and working towards an Associate degree or Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a technical related degree.
- Ability to learn new technology efficiently.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to multi-task and be highly organized.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge or ability to learn one or several of the following based on the Internship discipline:
- AutoCAD/AutoCAD 3D/Civil 3D
- BlueBeam/Visio
- AFT Fathom/AFT Arrow
- Plant 3D
- Navisworks
Physical Requirements
