Midway, LLC is hiring a Facilities Technician to join our team!

Key Details:

• Pay: $21 - $24/hour DOE

• Schedule: Full-time 40 hours/week; 8-hour shifts; weekends required
• Two Shifts: Sunday - Thursday OR Tuesday - Saturday, working between 7:30a - 5:30p

Who We Are: Midway, LLC is a family-owned company that supports a variety of entities. Services under the Midway, LLC umbrella include Graham & Tooze (a cute, community farm store) and Blue Jeans Coffee Co., to name a few!

The Facility Department supports multiple commercial and residential properties, including two residential properties with farm animals. During the summer months, the facility staff is also responsible for supporting small harvest programs in the garden and fruit tree orchard.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Experience working on a farm, outdoors, or doing some general handy work (even if it’s just helping your family or friends!).
• A team player who takes initiative and is willing to jump in wherever is needed.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Experience with hand tools.
• Comfortable with working outside year-round.
• Ability to use basic computer programs and phone apps to manage projects.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Current unencumbered Oregon driver’s license and access to personal vehicle.
• Ability to pass a background check and DMV check.
• At least 18 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role completing general maintenance and janitorial work.
• Experience working for a family-owned business and an understanding of the quirks that come with it!

What You’ll Do: The Facilities Technician will assist in performing work in the following areas: painting, carpentry, repair, lawn maintenance, janitorial, and light construction.

Other responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Janitorial support for commercial and residential facilities.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve maintenance issues.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety regulations.
• Perform general maintenance inside and outside of facilities; perform maintenance painting; install & repair appliances; perform necessary clean-up work.
• Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance in accordance to minimize unplanned downtime.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
