Midway Staffing is looking for candidates like you to join our steel company in El Mirage as a Structural Welder!
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in welding beams, columns, and bracing / tube structures, with a strong understanding of various welding techniques and safety protocols.
Title : Structural Welder
Shift : Mon-Thu 1st / 2nd
Pay : Starts at $20.35
DESCRIPTION :
- Perform high-quality welding on structural components, including beams, columns, and tube structures, using MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine welding requirements and specifications.
- Follow Safety procedures accordingly
- The environment can be very hot as we deal with steel
- Utilize welding machines continuously, loading weld equipment cutting equipment, and using needle guns to clean slag.
- Operate all welding machines and position welding and needle guns to perform all required welding operations, including connecting cables from power source to welder;
- striking arc; guiding electrode along lines to weld plate to beam;
