Job Posting for Vault Teller at Midwest Electronics Gaming, LLC
The Vault Teller is responsible for processing and verifying the company’s inbound and outbound currency liability while ensuring accuracy and following company and State’s procedures. Daily responsibilities will include vault accountability, balancing currency collections, and cash handling. The teller will compute, classify, and record numerical data to keep financial records complete. Along with preforming any combination of routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties to obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining accounting records.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties
Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.
Processing, verifying, and balancing transactions.
Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
Counting, verifying, and accurately reporting inventory.
Counts and verifies currency found in bill acceptor case.
Separates currency, coin, and deposits received from the bank, ATM, and customers.
Balances vault daily.
Prepares and processes route collections.
Cleans and maintains all vault equipment and inventory.
Maintains secure work environment and completes works in a confidential manner.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
Good analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to read and interpret various forms of information.
Ability to count and sort large sums of money in a fast and accurate manner.
Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time.
Strong math and money-handling skills are a necessity.
Proven ability to follow directions.
Reliability, accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentially are essential.
Experience in at least one of the following: cash handling, inventory control, deposit processing, vault balancing, account reconciliation, ATM processing, cashier or teller is preferred.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Ability to stand, sit, or kneel for various periods of time.
Physical mobility with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift to 20 lbs.
Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 40 pounds occasionally.
Work is preformed in a climate-controlled room and within a vault.
Additional Qualifications
Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to obtain a Terminal Handler’s license from the State of Illinois.
