Midwest Staffing is a seeking a Shipping Lead in Rogers, MN.
M-Th 5-3:30pm, overtime on Fridays (1/2 day)
As the Shipping Lead you will be responsible for ensuring safe transportation of finished product by designing, building and packing wood crates to specifications. This is a working lead role, and will be overseeing a small team, reporting to the Shop Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the shipment and reception of materials, parts, and finished product
- Load and unload trucks
- Building and crating of finished product
- Schedule trucks for outgoing shipments
- Complete reports for management
- Training and direction of shipping personnel
Education/knowledge:
- Shipping/Receiving Lead in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Forklift experience
- Must have general woodworking skills
- Knowledgeable with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
