What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Milacron Marketing?
Job Description-
Milacron is looking for a skilled maintenance technician to join our team to support the plant maintenance.
1st sift 6am-2:30pm. Not much overtime expected.
Work You'll Do:
Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.
Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts.
Collaborates with product manager or plant engineer regarding new products being added and modifications that will be required.
Cleans, organizes, inventories, stocks, and otherwise maintains shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies.
Performs other related duties as assigned by leadership.
Team:
You will be a key contributor to the production team reporting to the Operations Leader directly. The team consists of skilled machinists, welders, polishers, and QA, etc. They will be relying on maintenance team to keep their equipment in great working order.
Basic Qualifications:
Safety minded as number one importance.
Mechanically inclined with great problem-solving skills.
Works well independently and with others.
Good communication skills.
Organized with attention to detail.
Must be at least 18 years or older
Preferred Qualifications:
An electrical (120/220/460v) or/and mechanical understanding
Some vocational or community college with related coursework or equivalent experience.
Vocational education and/ or industrial maintenance experience preferred
