Milestones Early Learning is now hiring a GSRP Assistant Teacher for our Wyoming location. This location is located right off the Wilson exit on M6, minutes from Rivertown mall. If you have a passion for working in the Early Childhood field please inquire.

Ideal candidates should have at least one year of experience working with young children, preferably in a child-care center. Responsibilities and Duties

Planning and implementing enriching lesson plans in line with early childhood standards and all GSRP program requirements. Teachers will be expected to conduct parent teacher conferences twice a year and also complete home visits. Teachers will be responsible for caring and engaging with children age 3-4 years in authentic learning experiences through play, establishing & maintaining positive family, child, and staff relationships, and ensuring safety and highest quality childcare.

Qualifications and Skills

Ideal candidates will be caring, dependable, and enthusiastic, motivated, and work well in a team-oriented environment. Applicants must possess the following required qualifications/credentials:

An associate degree (AA) in early childhood education or child development or the equivalent; or a valid Center-Based Preschool CDA credential; or an existing 120 hour approval.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
