About Us:
Milford Regional Medical Center is a full-service, community and regional teaching hospital, with 145 beds, providing acute-care serving a region of 20-plus towns. Our Perioperative function supports 8 operating rooms and approximately 7,000 cases annually. With over 300 primary care and specialty physicians on the medical staff, our physicians are skilled in the most advanced procedures and technology, and provide personalized patient care in a warm and caring environment.
Designs, implements and supports the process of delivering education and training to hospital personnel. The Staff Education Instructor reports to the Director of Education, but interacts with all departments throughout the hospital and its satellites.
Qualifications:
Education: BS/BSN required. MS/MSN in Education preferred.
Certification / License:
Current RN License in Massachusetts
Current CPR skills
Current ACLS providership or attainment within 6 months
Current BLS Instructorship or attainment based on dept. needs
Current ACLS Instructorship or attainment based on dept. needs
Certification in related specialty preferred
Minimum 3 years Medical/Surgical experience required. Classroom teaching experience preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office preferred
