Summary

Our Window Delivery Assistant will be responsible for successfully and safely assist with unloading windows at job sites.

Duties and responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers/trucks
• Sort/select/move items to be loaded and verify item description & quantity for accuracy
• Notify management of any load discrepancies or damage items
• Insure proper loading and securement of load
• Maintain loading area clean, safe, and organized
• Load/unload without causing any damage to items or company property.
• Perform safety inspections on warehouse equipment
• May assist other departments in receiving, stocking, inventory or deliver goods.

Qualifications

• Ability to meet physical requirements (lifting 100 pounds, standing, pushing, pulling)
• Ability to maintain a good attendance record (punctual / reliable)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment 10 hours per day

Working conditions

Employee will ride in delivery truck and unload windows. Employee will be in and out of inclement weather, when the conditions are such. Steel toed boots and safety glasses will be required at all times.

Physical requirements

Employee will stand for extended periods of time, lift heavy objects (100 lbs.) on a regular basis, and do repetitive tasks. Employee will need to be able to squat and bend at the waist.
