What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head of Technology Content and Collaboration position at Millennium Management LLC?
Principal Responsibilities
As a seasoned knowledge manager, you will lead a team of several technical writers. You are an excellent writer and editor, have financial services experience, know how to shepherd a story, create content, and are an expert Atlassian Confluence user and administrator.
You will manage and work hand-in-hand with your team to create and maintain multiple internal product wiki spaces that cover the full gamut of trading operations for our diverse PM population (such as quantitative strategic and relative value PMs).
You will produce an internal live series and are passionate about crafting clear, presentations for large Technology and firm-wide audiences, which cover a variety of technical topics presented by internal and sometimes external presenters.
You will create additional communications to share news with PMs and technologists via channels other than the wiki product spaces and live series, including, for example, the wiki home page, the intranet, and town halls.
Qualifications/Skills Required
10-15 years of proven experience in knowledge management, technical writing, and content strategy in the financial services industry; team leadership experience required
Atlassian Confluence expertise required, including macros, plug-ins, and permissions (with HTML and CSS experience a plus)
Jira experience required
Template/taxonomy/hierarchy expertise
Presentation documentation skills, including PowerPoint with demo recording a plus
Software/hardware concepts understanding
Programming language structure understanding
Exceptionally high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Enthusiastic, high-energy, self-starter with a marketing mindset and ability to collaborate across multiple teams and organizations
Excellent time-management planning and organizational skills
