911 operations
Our 911 bases are predominantly rural and require an enhanced level of competency and skill to care for patients for longer periods of time during transport to definitive care. We are looking for experienced professionals or those with a desire to expand their knowledge, skill, and capability through experience and education. Applicants must be able to thrive in a community focused environment with emphasis on not only excellent medical care but, also professionalism and courtesy. 911 teams respond to a variety of requests including medical, trauma, rescue, fire ground, law enforcement, SAR, industrial, and community events.
IFT operations
Miller EMS is Oklahoma’s Critical Link to definitive care. IFT positions provide inter-facility transport service throughout our service areas and Oklahoma. Frequently, these transports deal with patients being moved from rural hospitals into metro area definitive care facilities. These transports can be lengthy and require an enhanced level of competency and skill to care for patients requiring critical and specialty care. Those with experience in the IFT field are best suited for this position. Those with experience limited to 911 with a desire to enhance their ability to care for patients for longer periods of time and with complex medical conditions are also encouraged to apply.
