POSITION SUMMARY

Cut, trim, or prepare consumer-sized portions of meat for use or sale in retail establishments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Wrap, weigh, tray, and bag cuts of chicken.
• Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers.
• Cut, trim, and bone chicken breasts.
• Inspect and store chicken to ensure quality.
• Use a boning knife.
• Understand plant rules and GMP's
• Know how to recondition product
• Know and understand standard operating procedures
• Know how to correctly label chicken parts and pieces
• Be able to follow proper hygiene guidelines
• Understand animal welfare guidelines
• Understand Miller Poultry sanitizing policies
• Know the correct procedures for emergency evacuations
• Follow correct knife safety practices

PRODUCTION SCHEDULE

• Monday to Friday
• 7AM to 3:30 PM
• 3:30 PM TO 1:00 AM

• 
  Overtime on Saturday – Varies
