Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about mixology, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting a wide range of beverages, providing attentive service to guests, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
Requirements:
- 3 years of proven experience as a Bartender in a high-volume restaurant or bar environment.
- Extensive knowledge of beverage preparation techniques, including mixing cocktails, pouring wine, and serving beer.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere for guests.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation guidelines for handling food and beverages.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or training in bartending or mixology.
- Passion for the hospitality industry and a genuine enthusiasm for delivering exceptional service.
Pay & Benefits:
- $16 per hour plus gratuity
Responsibilities:
- Mixology Mastery: Prepare and serve a diverse selection of cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and standards set by the establishment.
- Customer Service Excellence: Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders accurately, offering recommendations, and providing personalized service to enhance their overall dining experience.
- Bar Operations: Efficiently manage inventory, including ordering and stocking of bar supplies, ensuring adequate levels are maintained at all times. Handle cash transactions, process payments accurately, and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the bar area, including bar tops, glassware, utensils, and equipment. Adhere to safety protocols and proper handling of hazardous materials.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with fellow team members, including servers, kitchen staff, and management, to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Communicate effectively and assist colleagues as needed during peak hours.
