POSITION TITLE
HRIS Professional, Advanced
POSITION OVERVIEW
Reporting to the HRIS Director, this position will be part of the HR Information Services (HRIS) Team which is responsible for defining and executing global HR system in support of business objectives and digital transformation.
The position is located in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
The HRIS Professional, Advanced is an individual contributor role responsible for working in a team environment to configure, maintain, and generate reports for HR information systems. The role ensures HR systems support process optimization, along with ensuring accuracy of HR information entered into the system. The majority of the time is spent overseeing the design, support and upgrades of HR systems. Includes testing new features of the system as they are implemented. Responsibilities may include managing projects and managing external vendors. This role must be technologically adept and be able to work with multiple systems and relational databases.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will support various Human Resources teams and interacts with all levels within the organization. Specifically, this role will assist with the HR system administration in collaboration with Talent Development & Learning Teams, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Information Services, and Other Special Projects as assigned. Work focuses on configuring and testing HR systems that are integrated with HR business processes; building reports; configuring individual modules, designing and developing most aspects of data conversion. Troubleshooting and resolving testing issues. Training and supporting users. Responsibilities may include managing projects/processes, working independently with limited supervision. Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.
QUALIFICATIONS – REQUIRED
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, CIS, MIS, HR or related field
Understanding of HR processes and data.
Understanding of HRIS employee data management
Thorough knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access
Knowledge of a variety of Business Intelligence tools
Reporting and systems skills, including creating and comparing data sources.
Attention to detail and ability to work in a time-conscious and effective manner.
Strong technical orientation.
Highly organized and efficient in work process. Desire to succeed.
Self-motivated, team player, pro-active, works with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in fast paced environment
Must Strong communication skills
QUALIFICATIONS – PREFERRED
Minimum 2 years of experience supporting HR Information Systems
Experience working with SAP and SuccessFactors.
Project Management experience
HR System implementation experience
