Milliman's New York/Atlanta Health Practice consults to clients on the financial utilization characteristics of disease processes and treatments as well as healthcare reform, risk arrangements, and payer systems. We seek energetic and imaginative professionals to join our client-oriented team at our Atlanta, GA location, but fully remote candidates will also be considered. Successful candidates will have the ability to lead work with innovative clients seeking answers to complex business challenges.
Primary roles
- Manage and develop clients among healthcare provider organization, insurers, and pharmaceutical companies
- Collaborate with and supervise consultants and other member of project teams
- Assist junior colleagues with the development of their analytical and consulting skills
- Apply your experiences to a wide array of healthcare system topics including healthcare reform
Qualifications
Required:
- At least 10 years of experience in healthcare consulting (analytic or strategic) or senior management experience with a health carrier, care management vendor, pharmaceutical entity, or other healthcare related organization
- At least 3 years of experience in senior management or senior consultant capacity
- Understanding of medical coding systems (CPT, ICD, DRG, etc.)
Preferred:
- Advanced degree: PharmD, RN, MD, MPH, MS, PhD, or relevant certifications (e.g., FSA, ASA)
- Ability to manage multiple clients
- Track record of account management and business development success
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Compensation

The salary range is $134,000 to $272,000, dependent upon a combination of factors, including but not limited to education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, location, etc.
Education
Required:
- Bachelors or better
Preferred:
- Masters or better in Public Health or related field
