Your Role:

At MilliporeSigma the Warehouse Operator 2 will be responsible for routing or delivery of products and materials to internal and external customers.
  • Performs duties according to established SOP's, ISO 9000, cGMP, and DOT regulations to support corporate regulatory efforts.
  • Maintains computer inventory control system for receiving procedures, inter-company transfers and material issues.
  • Uses various rolling power equipment (forklifts, Reaches, etc.) in a safe and productive manner.
  • Conducts regular cycle counts of all inventoried materials.
  • Supplies Production department with daily supplies to meet production scheduling needs.
  • Performs daily housekeeping in the warehouse and outside around waste containers and driveway ramps.
  • Prepares materials for remote site storage.
  • Maintains paperwork according to SOP and DOT regulations.
  • Takes part in and contributes to a safe working environment by following corporate and departmental safety regulations.
  • Trains new personnel for the department.
  • Performs other relevant duties as assigned.


Physical Attributes:

May involve lifting, pushing, or pullingup to 70 pounds.

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2 years' experience in a warehouse, distribution, or material handling environment.
  • Proficiency with computers.
  • Ability to do basic math.
  • Previous forklift experience.
