We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Swimwear Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing swimwear, with strong skills in sketching, using Illustrator, and building comprehensive tech packs. This role is crucial in shaping our swimwear collections and ensuring they meet both creative and production standards.
Responsibilities:
- Report to the Senior Designer on all deliverables.
- Design and sketch new swimwear collections and styles that align with current fashion trends.
- Create detailed technical drawings and specifications using Illustrator for production.
- Build thorough tech packs for each design, including measurements, materials, and construction details.
- Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure designs are production-ready and meet brand standards.
- Stay informed on the latest fashion trends and integrate them into designs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Swimwear Designer with a strong portfolio of past work.
- Exceptional sketching skills and proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce precise technical drawings.
- Experience building tech packs for swimwear production.
- Deep understanding of textiles, garment construction, and the production process.
- Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Compensation/Benefits:
- The approximate annual base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $100,000, depending on experience, skill set, and role requirements.
