Warehouse Supervisor
San Jose, CA

Your tasks:
As a key member of the Miltenyi Biotec team, you will have the exciting opportunity to supervise and coordinate warehouse activities of workers engaged in shipping, receiving and inventory management. More specifically, you will direct, supervise and assign daily duties, care, and preservation procedures of items received, stored, and shipped by the logistics team. In addition, you will ensure compliance of policies and procedures for shipment of inventory and non-inventory items for accuracy, timeliness, and completeness for daily sales orders. As a result, you will enable the smooth operation and continued success of our company as a whole.

Requirements:

• Associates degree from a two-year college or technical school; Four to six years’ experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory management and a minimum of three years’ experience in a supervisory role; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating system, MS Office software, and ERP systems.
• Extensive experience using FedEx and UPS shipping software.
• Experience with import/export documentation.
• Experience handling FDA approved products desirable.

Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. This job is performed in a shipping/receiving/ warehouse facility within an office building.  While generally this job is performed in temperature-controlled facilities, there are occasions in which this position must work outside, in which temperatures may vary.  This position deals with temperature-controlled materials in which personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required due to extreme temperatures.  Used research/clinical equipment may be handled in this job and strict SOPs and PPE must be worn.
